Site Description

Waltham Cross Town Centre is in receipt of £14m levelling up funding to improve the infrastructure in and around the town centre, which is currently being implemented.

Broxbourne Borough Council owns a parade of shops on the Northern High Street, opposite the Pavilions Shopping Centre, which will directly benefit from the infrastructure improvements being carried out. It is currently carrying out feasibility studies for the development of this parade, which should provide a mixture of commercial and living space for up to six storeys. The town is in close proximity to two train stations giving direct access to London Liverpool Street Station and connections to the London Underground (Victoria Line). The council is looking to achieve planning permission and dispose of the site or develop the site with a joint venture partner.

The site is located in the town centre and offers a commercial/residential mixed-use opportunity on a one acre site. It also presents a Build-to-Rent (BTR) opportunity with approximately 100 residential units anticipated. The ground floor is expected to include leisure/commercial uses, and there is potential for amalgamation with adjoining sites.
